Wrasse just dies

shocker here. meleagris leopard wrasse just died within about a 5 minute time.
fine in the morning then afternoon just started going upside down and that was it.
nothing noticeable wrong with her.

had for over 2 yrs. all other fish in tank fine. crazy.. what a bummer for sure.

Sorry for your loss. There were no signs of anything at all? Had it been eating? I would say old age but to die within a day seems fast. And if it was disease related you would have noticed symptoms. The other fish are acting ok?

nothing.. acting eating fine earlier.. all other fish including ornate leopard.. fine.

Sucks.

I had that happen to me once with a well established foxface. It was doing well: acting fine and eating well. Then, in front of my eyes it starting doing the spins and the funky-chicken. Five minutes later it was a goner.

IME, old age takes it toll over a few months where the fish hides more, eats less and an overall decline in body and fin condition.
