Wrasse question?

Do wrasse's get along with other fish. I would like to add one but dont have much experience with them. The tank is a 125 with a Hippo Tang, Yellow Tang and Flame Angel. The tank is a FOWLR and has a BB. Thanks

What kind of wrasse? It's a very diverse group, from the cleaner wrasses to the fairy wrasses, flashers, large FO wrasses, harlequin tusks and broomtails...

yes, that is a very open ended questions. some wrassses are tiny, peaceful fish, some get over 2 meters. Some are virtually indestructable and some are delicate.

You have to avoid any leopard or tamarin wrasses that are difficult anyway, but need sand to sleep in. A sixlined wrasse is a colorful and active sport and with your mix of sem-aggressive fish, he would be fine. There are many wrasses as people mentioned and as long as it can cope with the aggression of your other fish and get enough food, you probably won't have trouble from the wrasse bullying the other fish.

since your tank is BB i would stick with flashers and fairy wrasses. make sure they dont need a sandbed to sleep in or hide in. you could get something like a harlequin tusk but i believe they can eat smaller fish as they get older
