Is there some disease that would affect only wrasses? I lost my radiant wrasse 3-4mos ago for no clear reason -- no other fish or corals were affected. Had him 1.5yrs after a nother hobbyist had it for a year. Ate in the am, gasping on bottom in pm, dead that night.
I've tried 2 more since, both died rapidly (one never emerging from the sand).
Large yellow coris wrasse in for a month, was eating well, not harrassed by any mates, today is on the sand gasping.
A red tail anampses met the same fate though those can be more delicate.
No other fish problems. I do have monti nudis (thus the persistence with the radiants). I don't want to add any more wrasses until I figure this out if I can.
I have a 6-line and have had for over a year. It is fine, but relegated to frag tank as it WAS harrassing some other fish -- when I added new -- a while back.
