I would like to pick up a Solon Fairy Wrasse. I have an Ornate wrasse that i have kept for a year with no jumping problems. The tank was covered for half that time and no longer is now.
I no longer have the Ornate wrasse and not due to jumping. Whats other members experiences keeping Wrasse's in uncovered tanks??? Is it only a matter of time till they jump and a huge risk? I can't say that I'm very fond of the egg crate look on tanks. Any other ideas? None that i can think of...
I'm running a Coralife elite fixture 250x2 MH w/ 2x96w Pc's. Its setup in my living room currently on a 75 gal tank. I found it blinding to sit on the couch near the tank and watch TV. So i toolk some plexi glass and cut to fit a length across the front. 1st painted black and then covered by white gloss. I have the front and back enclosed but the sides open.
I suppose i could enclose the sides. I'm sure heat may possibly become an issue then.
Any ideas or experiences?
Are the Solon Fairy wrasse awesome and frequent jumpers?
Thanks
