Wrasse Won't Eat

Well, I have been treating an ich outbreak with hypo in my system. Overall, the treatment is going well. All fish have adjusted well to hypo and visible signs of ich are no longer present.

However, my banana wrassse stoped eating, and believe it or not, he has not eaten in over 1 month. He looks pretty good and does not show any major weight loss. He mostly sits on the bottom but swims a bit and is swimming fairly well. What can I do to get him to eat. I have tried garlic and a ton of different foods to no avail.

What are you feeding him? Mine loves live feeders and silversides. There was a time I had him on cupramine that he didn't eat for 3 days. I did a 50% water change and it perked him up. At the time my nitrites were up and I don't think he liked it. Good luck!

I have tried pretty much everything except for live food. Krill, silversides, mysis, brine, raw shrimp, rods food, and spectrum pellets. He enjoyed all of these foods before the ich so I know that they are foods he will eat.

Some wrasses do not respond well to hyposalinity treatment. In my case, my Mystery Wrasse would not eat a bite when I dropped my salinity. After a few weeks, I decided to gradually raise back the salinity. As this happened, the fish started to eat again.
