Wrasses. Multiple species in 1 tank?

I am trying to establish a fish stock list for my tank. There are several wrasses i would like to stock. Would it be wise to stock one fish of variety of species to avoid aggression? Do they need to be a pair? There are so many interesting species I would prefer a variety if they can get along.

Any thoughts?

what size tank ? I have two types in my tank , carpenters fairy wrasse and a 6 line wrasse. I'm actually looking for an opossum wrasse . I have 0 aggression and they are super great

If its your 130 in your signature, then yes multiple wrasses are no problem also depends on your other bioload, but I would think 4-6 should be a good start with no issues? Just don't have lots of massive tangs or Angels as well to have a large biolooad without proper filtration.

Thanks for input. My list for now has. 2 clowns, 1 yellow tang, midas blenny, royal dolyback, cleaner shrimp, cuc and 5-6 wrasses. I have 120lbs rock and 50 gal sump. I think 180 gal system can easily handle the bioload

FWIW my wrasse inhabitants include solon fairy, temmincki, naokis, red velvet, pink margin, exquisite and gray head. They all cruise around minding their own business. Good luck

Always use an acclimation box when introducing new wrasses and wait it out for at least a few days til flashing and interest ceases.

Yes your system can handle that bioload
