What sharks? Bandeds, Epi's? Most of them are geared towards hunting food from the sand, the rays especially, which leopard wrasses sleep. I think they would become food pretty quickly, more so when they are first introduced into the tank and they hide for long amounts of time before adjusting.
That's why IMO non-reef safe wrasse are shark safe, as they don't bury themselves in sand and also get larger then most reef safe wrasses.
