WTB 250watt MH Set Up

I am interested in a 250 watt MH set up with a ballast. Also does anyone know where to get the reflectors that the tank of the month has?

I think Ed Smith has sereval 400 watt ballasts for sale.

Would a 400 watt be okay over a 75gallon tank?

I would worry about how much heat it would add. If you can raise it up enough away from the tank it would disperse the light and heat so you dont cook the tank or give your population sunburn.

Yes they would need to have good distance but would work and they would be nice and bright....I would guess they would need to be about 12 inches from the water surface.
