WTB: 30 gal. breeder tanks

Ok anyone out there have any of these tanks. and how much. tanks...

I don't think the $30 ones at petsmart are breeders and if they are, I believe they are tempered on all sides, so make sure before drilling.

I picked up a 40g breeder on Sunday for my new African Bluelined Trigger. It came with a glass canopy but w/o the light and they sold it for $100. I don't know what the 39g is. What is the difference bt a regular tank and a breeder tank?

30g breeder is longer and shorter, great for frag tank, standard 30's are not as long and are tall.

BTW, nismo, did you ever go to Petsmart and check out the prices?

If a breeder is longer and shorter, than Petsmart has 29g Breeders for about $ 30. I have two of them. One as a Prop tank and one as a refugium. It's just the tank. No canopy and no light.

30 gallon breeder is 36" Long, 18" Wide and 12" tall...

Thanks Zurc. I guess the 18" wide part is the key. My 40g is 18" wide. My 30's are 36x12x12, not 36x18x12. Still, for $30, that's not bad.

hey your probably talking about the 20 long which is actually 30x12x12 or maybe the 29 which is 36x12x18 tall which is neither what im looking for. i actually have never seen those measurements of 36x12x12 but it still wouldnt be 30 gallons... hey zurc i actually havent check yet but its highly unlikely they have 30 gallons breeders for 30 bucks. but if thats the case thats were ill be buying them from.
