Thanks Richard. BTW tried to make it over to you at the swap and never did. Sorry I missed you.

euphoricgear: Just think that it's cool to pair up clowns with an anemone. I have no interest in breeding them, way too much work, but laying eggs as a treat for the tank would be cool.

Gooli: Thanks I'll PM reefskis

GPS: I've not tried it but I've been told to use an ice cube near the foot as it is important not to damage/tear the foot. Maybe someone else knows?

is it the perfect anemone for clowns? seems like everyones getting one.

saw i guy selling his whole tank w 2 rbtas i think for $200 in here.

Depends on the clowns. Certain species will host certain clowns, or at least have a better chance of success. I know that Seaside has them but they're a little pricy.

Hi Dan,

I got mines from Steve aka laverda about a year ago so you can PM him if he has one for you. I didn't feed mines for 7 months and it did fine, but not prosper. Once I started to feed it silver sides, it has divided from that one to the current four.

If Riverside isn't too far for you, PM me. I remember when I got mines from Steve, he set a tupperware container on the table, took out the rock the anemone was on and inverted it upside down about a couple inches from the tupperware. Then he used a silicone tubing and sucked water out from the tank, 'washing' the foot of the anemone. I believe it was by accident but the anemone started to slowly release it's foot and went right into the container.
