WTB :40 gallon Acrylic Tank/ Sump

I am in need of a 40 gallon (according to Paul) acrylic tank that i can use for a sump. Looks are not really important here, it just has to be able to work as a sump for my new tank. If you have anything you don't want or need please let me know the dimensions and price. Thank you in advance for the time.

What dimensions do you need for it to fit underneath your stand? I am assuming since your tank is either 4 or 5 feet long you are looking for either a 3 or 4 foot sump.

I guess I should have measured that. I am pretty sure the tank is 5 feet. There is a lot of room under the stand. If anyone has anything, I guess just send me the measurements and I can check it out when I get home.

Why Acrylic? Glass is much easier to silicone in baffles in my experience.

I use a 55 gallon glass for my sump

you can probably find a cheap one on craigslist

thank's for the info on glass. I am really new to this, so I really don't know which way is best or easier. I was just told by a friend to look for acrylic. But, I may look into glass as well.

I think Glass will be easier to find and cheaper.

Puus like i said it is very easy to silicone in.


Did you ever measure and see what will fit under the stand? I would put as big of a tank as you can under there.
