Hit a few shops today for a nano for the wifes office. I think the one that stood out was the 8 Gallon Bio Cube Nano Reef Aquarium by Oceanic @ Exotic since it had dual PC lighting and the top of the tank was more sleak and harder for hands of the kiddies to get into the tank ( small feeding door compared to the JLB 6 gallon which only had one bulb) She also wants the lunars

Really didnt like how the Jebo top opened and perfered Black over the Jebo Grey as this needs to match up with the rest of her office. She gets a lot of people in her office so really want something nice and that will allow her to handle the maintance(minimal). Tank is going to be setup at home for 2 weeks then transfered.

She/I is/are planning on:

Sifting goby maybe a GDG
unknown fish NON CLOWN ( doesnt want to hear , awww nemo all day lol
3 small hermits
2 Xenias
G seastars
assortied Shrooms
5lbs or so of LR
5 -7 Lbs sand ( have not really figured this out yet will ahve to see)
Maybe a small frog spawn when gets larger can come home to go into the main.

If you have a nano you would like to sell let me know Only has room for a 6 or 8g max to fit in her office. Looking to buy now or in a few days if seller needs time.

Is that the Nano with one PC in it ? Does it have the lunars also ?

Really wanted something with 2 pcs so if one burns out it can last awhile so I can run to the store and make a service call to her work.

Wouldnt the 2 bulb help with coral heath also ? Wondering how much of a differance there will be.

it does have the moon lights, not sure if it has 2 pc, but it is pretty bright, should be good for easy corals, I would think that 2 lights would make a big differance and make it better for more light demanding corals.
I'll check tomorrow if it has 1 or 2 pc

I stayed up till about 3am piling through specs and what not. Seems like the 8g Oceanic would be the best bet.

8.9g over 6.0g
dual filter intake ( upper and lower ) or the single skimmer type
2 18 watt PC lighting ( 1 10k and one atinic ) over the single 50/50 bulb

and both are the exact same foot print. I just hate driving all the way to South Sacramento , only place I found them was at exotic lol unless i can find someone with a used one.
