WTB a 120 canopy

I am open to having something built. It has to be black which should make things less complicated. OC, you are more local, any pictures of some of your previous work?

I know I am not that local but I have built my own stand and canopy before if you would like to see my work you can look at my build thread:

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1798666

I did make doors for that, it has been stained and polyed and it is really something I am proud of.

it took me a while to build because of money but I am sure if I had all that I could cut, assemble and paint all in one day and then the next day poly it for ya. Did you want a glossy finish or a flat black?

Well like I said you are probably going to go with that other guy but let me know if you decide to use me to build your canopy.

Nice work.

It actually doesnt need to be glossy, it's going on top of a Oceanic Tech, in fact it's Ldoggs old system if you ever saw that. I want to the the style with the doors on the front and a little taller, like 10 to 12".

so you are saying that you like this canopy design and you would like one like it, is that correct? That one is going to be going on my tank and I want to say from the base of the canopy to the top of the canopy is 12 inches but I am not sure haven't worked on it in a while. I can very well go home and measure it.

I don't have internet at the house and work computer is the only way I am on here unless you are willing to PM me with your contact information I will be back on here on Wednesday and I can let you know the true dimension's at that time.

Actually I am thinking out loud. One of the reasons I would prefer to keep it local is this particular black finish might be a little tricky to match up without seeing it first. Let me see what happens local first but I will keep you in mind for sure, looks like you do good work

okay yeah that is not a problem...as a matter of fact I am driving up to fort collins on memorial day to pick up a bunch of stuff and if the wife will allow it I can always stop by and check things out...

Just throwing that out there. Let me know if you decide to work with me or not and thank you for the comments.

i have a solid oak stand and canopy for a 120. it is staind a red mahogony and is in near pefent shape. i would take 150 for them. i have no use for them as i have not set the tank up yet and am planing on building my own stand & canopy.

You got PM

If you are going to have one custom built, I highly recommend this design:

I would offer to build you one myself if you accept the same timeframe that took me to build. I think I completed it in well under 2 years ;-)

Yeah, kinda how my LED build has gone. Got 8 more wires to hook up and it's done. Now I just gotta get off my butt and do it. Right now I am leaning towards having one built but I am going to take a look at what 1887 has, he has also offered to build one for me.
