WTB: balast

I have a PC JBJ light for a 55gal that I believe needs a new balast. The bulbs on the back of it won't light except for a slight flicker in one of them. Any one have one that they want to part with?

what kind of bulb you trying to light that would be needed to know what ballast to match it too

Sorry, I didn't know I needed that info.

The bulbs are Corallife 50/50 65watt.

so you need a ballast to fire 1 or 2 55/65w pc bulb

do you know if they are on seperate ballasts ? 1 or 2 switches?

and have you put the good bulbs in the problem sockets to eliminated the possibility of bad bulbs pcs will flicker when there spent or gonna burn out ....sorry for all the questions? trying to make sure what you need

Well the bulbs are about 2 months old.

After reading your last post I decided to try to take out the bulbs and put in a new one. I took one side out and turned it on and IT WORKED!! I'm so glad you helped me through this!! But what I don't understand is why would the original one that I left in not work because the other was burned out? and why would the bulb burn out so fast?
