We have a bunch of berghies here that need a good home with LOTS of aiptaisias. They have specialized care requirements - they only eat aiptaisias and nothing else. It is best to set them up initially in a separate small tank (say a 10gal) and rotate aiptaisia-covered rocks in. You should not get more than a couple, since they eat voraciously and what you really want is to establish an ecological balance between aiptaisias & berghies. Each one can eat several aiptaisias a day, and they will starve within a few days if there aren't any aiptaisias. Natural lifespan is supposed to be about 1yr. Also, it's a really good idea to keep each one separately, since they are hermaphrodites, so each berghie can lay eggs - and they lay eggs every day!! So unless you want a population explosion, it's best to keep 'em separated.
