SAM! THAT ISNT HELPING HERE!...lolz.. but the $10 was just a joke... ur pretty much right tho... i bought one a few weeks back (very small, less then 1 inch)... he didnt live more then 3 days... sick fish i assume ~sigh~ i just hate buying from lfs if i can avoid it unless its a lfs i can trust... the one i got the blue tang @ is NOT a trusted lfs for me their the ones that told me to toss $200 worth of live stock in my tank THE FIRST DAY IT WAS SET UP... :mad2: needless to say... only the inverts made it.. how? i dont know... but anyways... i keep kicking myself in the @ss for going back there when will i ever learn
i have one you can have.. it is 4-5" and has HLLE, he is in my sump as i dont have the time to care for him... but he is yours free is you want time.. he eats like a pig and is not aggressive at all.
Lateral line errotion correct? what was the best cure for that... let me look it up... i will most likely take him off your hands just cause i like the challange of cureing the fish in any case...how bad is he, do you have any recent pictures, what food is being offered to the affected fish. ?
i have Vita Chem at home... i can get the Selcon as well... thx for the opportunity... i would love to take him, along with 8 lbs of live rock... i was given $16 to play with for the 17 gal. but i may take a few more peices for my personal tank at home ... how far established is the rock you have?

mine looks like that but it is only his face... and yes with a proper diet they can recover.... I had a large 8-10" blue tang that i was able to heal....
i have plans to keep him in a QT for as long as it takes or at least until i can see that improvements are setting in and starting to take hold... with the fish in the QT i know exactly how much water volume i am dealing with and can reduce the stress of having the fish have to battle it out with my aggressive eaters in my 100 gal...
looks like someone spun the fish down the road, but im confident that with the proper care, he has a good chance..
thx for the fish Gabe
