Need to put the hole in the skimmer to install my JG fitting. I forgot the exact size I need perhaps someone can help me out. I'd like to say it's 1/4"?

you have plastic drill bits? It's kinda scary man, if I screw up there goes a EV.... I wonder what Tap Plastic would charge to do this for me.

it's a pretty big hole i need to drill like 3/8" or so u have bits that big?

If you are using drill bits, make sure they are the type for plastic, otherwise you'll likely crack your skimmer when the bit pulls through. Especially if you you don't have a lot of practice drilling freehand.
If they are regular high speed steel bits, you can modify the cutting edge with a stone for less rake to reduce the problem.
For 1/2" hole, you can use a hole saw... definately not 1/2" HSS bit freehand.

Ok here's what Aqua C told me to do. Drill it with 1/2 drill bit then use a 3/8" NPT tap to thread the hole....
So I need 1/2" drill bit and a 3/8 NPT tap does anyone have this?

I think that somewhere in my house is a 1/4" tap, but I'm not sure. Also, remember that JG fittings also come in different sizes! It might be 3/8" I don't even remember.
I used it to tap holes in my PVC Kalkreactor body, and the JG fittings fit in nicely (They fit 1/4" line, so the tap MIGHT be 1/4" though 3/8" sounds right too.) I'll tell you if I find it.
And, don't be too scared, if you drill the (thick) acrylic body of an AquaC and it cracks, or you screw up the threads, just glue acrylic over the hole. Remember the AquaC (and most skimmer) bodies are just boxes, patched holes won't affect performance!
