After violet21chewy gets what they need, I'd be curious as to what's around locally and for what price.

I need to start seeding base rock in my sump in preparation for my eventual upgrade.

I have some from when I first started but I think that it may be leeching copper so useless for a reef tank.

I did that before I switched the crushed coral ->southdown and pulled all of the rocks for new liverock.

I guess I could always throw the old rock in a bucket with water and a powerhead and see if it changes the color of the cuprisorb.

Thanks for the idea! I wasn't ever going to trust that rock again but I guess if it can soak for a couple of weeks without changing the cuprisorb it should be fine.

Wanna buy some rock?
