WTB: Goby/Pistol pair

Anyone seen one at any LFS lately?

Any recommendations on or idea on prices would be appreciated too.

i saw a pair at " all about fish" this weekend, they seemed kinda big though.

They'll be living in a 48" long 72gal bowfront so as long as they aren't 6" or more I can probably handle them. I'll have to check them out tomorrow. What species was the goby?

I've seen them at Atlantis Aquarium in Fremont frequently.

Yeah, I saw a Yasha goby and pistol pair at Atlantis, but that was over a month ago.

i got a yashia pistol pair @ king for $40. you might want to ask them if they can order a pair for you .

I have a pistol that was paired with a yellow watchman goby. the yellow watchman died but i still have the pistol. i am moving to benicia in about a month. if you dont find anything let me know and you can have my pistol (or trade for a frag or something)

Thanks GFK I think a ywg is what I want though a yahia is also very nice looking.

either ywg or yashe would be cool. IMO, it's cheaper to buy them separately. Chances of them pairing up are high, as long as you don't have another goby in the tank. They will find each other, much faster than a clown hosting an anemone But if you do have other goby(ies), sometimes they will share the burrow together or one will get kicked out and then they swap places. Which happens alot to mine. Somedays, it's my ywg. Other days it's my yashe. But it's never a "threesome" I introduced my randall's pistol shrimp last and the gobies found him the next day. A buddy of mine also bought it separately and his pair of yashe's found the pistol shrimp a few days later.
