WTB Handheld TDS meter

Hey almost survived the Flu. My Advice don't get it!! It has been miserable. My biggest problem has ben a fever which started out with a 103 on Saturday and now 7 days later is still hanging around at 99. Other than a cough that has been it, but that's enough. I had lots of strange dreams/nightmares including one that had my fish shining a light at me while I was in the other room. (I give them credit but not that much):)

Now that I am feeling better I want a handheld TDS meter to test the system I got over the summer. I finally changed out the filters and want to see if it is working well. I know I can get a TDS for $20 at BRS but I was just wondering if any of you with fancy in line systems have a used one sitting in the garage. Let me know

Thanks..Craig.

p.s. I ran it for ther first time the other day and wondered if it is common for a blue tint from the media to form for a bit. I figure i will run it for a couple of buckets full and get the tester before I use it.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Craig. 103! Ouch.

Sorry, no handheld tds meter here. One does need to flush the water filter for like an hour after replacing cartridges and / or membrane. If you've replaced carbon canisters, flush those first without running the water output from them through your membrane to avoid clogging the membrane with all the fine soot that comes off the carbon initially.
