One of the Aqua Clear HOB filters works great too. Just need to modify the basket that holds the media into a strainer (keep the macro algae in the filter rather than pouring into the tank).

It is 12.5x4x11.75 high. I had it on my 29 gallon, a 55g, and currently on the back of a nano cube. I will post some pics here later tonight or in the morning.

Here are some pictures for you. It looks like a crack on the back but it isn't, just a reflection or something.
