wtb HUGE live rock pieces

ok so my dad might possibly be getting me a 450 gallon tank and i dont know where to even start to get huge lr pieces for this tank. i live in nyc so if you have any suggestions that would be great, thanks

Manhattan Aquarium sells Marco Rock. I know it's not live, but you can get some monster pieces on request. MA also sells nice LR that's COVORED in Coraline, but their aren't many large pieces.

i have never tried it but i would contact one of the major vendors and see about ordering a pallet of rock. If you can afford to get one large batch i would think you could get whatever you want, there just going to drop ship it from the location to your house. You will pay a premium, and it will not be cured already.

u have to get in on bolk buys one pallet of rock. will not do for a bulk buy its about 1/3 t0 of whats need to get a good price on it

yes dry rock is fine too. i actually prefer dry rock since its cheaper

BRS has large 30 plus pound pieces in right now check it out

If you request large pieces from BRS of the Pukani you get just that... really large pieces... I ordered 50 lbs, it was 3 pieces... the smallest was about the size of a basketball. The largest piece was around 20 inches tall

I asked for some semi large and some normal size pieces of Pukani from BRS. The largest piece I received was 30#. It's much bigger than a basketball. In fact, I'm probably not even going to use it because it's too big to figure out what to do with.:eek1: That is where I would look. Nice rock too!!

I ordered some live rock from liveaquaria.com that came in 25lb. to 30lb. pieces.

I just ordered from brs they said they had dry rock as big as my 40 gallon breeder

omg that scares me lol. right now i have a 125 and i ordered 72 pounds of ecosaver rock and i requested large ones. i didnt thing they would be that huge but if i really do get this tank which now i just got a better deal on a 500 gallon ill the rock from brs and ill use the pieces i just ordered in the big tank also.
