WTB Internal Overflow

I am looking to buy an internal overflow box if anyone has one used. I am getting my tank drilled today at puppy center and im not sure if it is going to be in the top left or top right corner of my ten gallon tank. If anyone knows where I could get a good deal on one or has one that I could buy off them would be great. Once again I am not sure what corner yet so I will post that later tonight by like five but if anyone has any available either side I could look into it to see if it works when i find out where it is. Thanks Everyone

Andrew

What I did for my 65G was to decide how large I wanted/needed each piece and had a local glass company cut the pieces to size and polish the cut ends. I then used aquarium silicone and put the pieces together.

I built a "large" center overflow in a coast-to-coast design, but did not go to the very ends. Guess it's more of an Ohio-to-Denver overflow then. :D Anyway, mine was a bottom, front and two sides. I "glued" up the pieces and finally "glued" the overflow into the tank where I wanted it.

You could do something similar. I used 1/4" glass because of the tank size, but you would get away with 1/8" and they carry that in home centers near you. You'll also need the glass cutter and the silicone (I've seen the aquarium grade stuff there as well). I used blue tape to ensure my silicone lines were straight and crisp since I'm no glass tank builder. You'd need three small pieces, and could likely get it from one small piece of the glass they sell.

A few hours of work and less than $20 in materials, and you have a DIY custom overflow.

they also sell one that is part of the bulkhead and screws on with the bulkhead just dont know what it is called but someone here did one so hope they will chime in

That is the kit from glassholes.com
there you go knew someone would know

So my attempt at an overflow box miserably failed. So if anyone knows where I can buy a cheap internal overflow box, either a left corner overflow or a three sided regualr one. That would be great. Also would pay someone to make one for me. Everywhere I have been looking its like 60+ for just the box. Any extras laying around please let me know. Thanks Andrew

No camera but just cutting the glass I was miserable at. But Mike showed me that I could easily use a right angle PVC to be a overflow so I think that should work fine. So after everything I think I am good for everything.

I have an overflow box. I'm guessing its internal... I got it when I bought my frag tank (which is shut down now). I'll take a picture of it tomorrow as I dont really know much about external/internal overflows.

If you get the box, I have an AGA "J" or "durso" standpipe - you know the kind that looks like a cane with the screen over the intake to prevent fish from taking a ride into your sump. I'd take $20 for it.

I'm actually not going to have time to take a photo today.. studying for finals.
I'll try to get one asap but have been busy as heck.
