WTB large frag tank

Anyone sitting one a 4x4 acrylic or glass tank? LMK thanks mike

I think aztecdream has a 4x4 acrylic tank.. Not sure if he has sold it yet or not.

Is that the one that has the cross bracing across the top. I think ive seen the pics but im not sure...

Tryin to find somethign with a lil more open top since Ill be prob using a halide. But ill keep it in mind

I dont think you will find a large cube with an open top. The bracing is what holds the cubes together. The cube I have now is the same way

A little tall for a frag tank but for the price maybe you could cut it down and use the scraps to make Euro bracing for it.

Yeah we saw that but its gonna be on a corner so tryin to find something taht we can view from all sides.

The one I have has the overflow in the center

you could always cut the cross bracing and get some thick scrap acrylic and brace the sides so that the tank doesnt bow, and you have lots of viewing space from the top.

It would in essence look like the 2 acrylic frag tanks that we had at the shop, or Josh's 8 footer!

Thats what i was wondering jon if that would work. Im gonna have to go take a look at the cost of acrylic these days. Wish I knew who got ahold of the tanks that Marine showcase used to have as coral tanks.

I was told something that size is like 400 at least, acrylic is outragous priced.
