i'm looking to upgrade into a 300 gal in wall around feb or march

Is that when the bet is over?

I found a 400 gallon 72x36x36 but I'd have to take out a window to get it in the house and the girlfriend thinks it's way to big LOL.
I'm still considering it because I've always wanted a large setup but at that size it would be FOWLR.

No longer available, I made him an offer and he said to give him a few days said he would call me if he got a better offer so I would have a chance to counter it but he sold it.

I'm selling a Tek tank 120g (starphire), MH light fixture, nice sump, Euroreef Skimmer, 150lbs rock for 1500. I know it's out of your price range but it's a heck of a deal if you interested. All cleaned up and ready to move.

No longer looking, Ordered a new Marineland 250g Deep Dimension today.

Niiiice! Thats what i was looking at. What was the damage on that?

I might get one of those or I might go acrylic so I can drill it full of holes and do a closed loop.

Just under 2k for the starphire front tank only, I looked at glass cages for a while and the reviews are all over the place and it's apparent that their customer service is terrible. In the end I figured with my luck I would be one of the unhappy customers.
I thought about a large acrylic but it scratches just looking at it. I'm buying everything else used and making my own stand to try to keep the cost down.
Rather than drill and go with a closed loop I think I'll look at the MP40W or something like it. Expensive at first but cheaper on the electrical cost in the long run than running a large closed loop pump.

I hear ya there, I'm so up in the air on what i want to do. I just saw the nano TOTM and I may just stick with a nano for a few years. I loved having a big tank but taking a break from it is nice too.

Good luck on the build.
