Hey ed thanks for the offer but I got corals coming out of my ears. Im just trying to gather some good photos and Im gonna have a big blow out soon of some really nice stuff, so stay tuned all!
pcurry, yup thats pretty much it. Theres different methods of attaching(toothpics, superglue, wedding veil, fishing line etc), just make sure you attach it to a clean and smooth substrate. This will aid in faster recovery time, and lesson the chance for infection.
Ideally you'll want to cut any corals out side of the tank as they'll squirt there nasties which could stress other corals that are subjected to it. I like to cut mine in a container, then let them sit in container of tank water, so the open cuts can coagulate this also helps keep your tank keep cleaner as opposed to putting a leaking/bleeding coral back in the tank.
