also i need some help , if no one here had snything new or used, which would be better a 2x26(i think its 26 watt or somewhere around there) watt or a 2x55 watt PC fixture?

2x26 or a 2x40 watt pc is more than enough light for a 10 gal tank. I wouldn't recommend a 2x55 watt, it is too long (24", 10 gal tank is only 20"). Either light would work fine. You could also use a twin 18" NO fluor. also and that should give you enough light for most softies and LPS.

I bought a 28 watt 65K PC bulb at HD for $8 a few weeks ago. You can buy a DIT socket for it for $4 and get a NO fluorescent double bulb set up there really cheap too. You'll just have to buy actinic NO bulbs from a fish store. That will give you 58 watts of light. If you want more add a second 28 watt 65 K for another $12. That will give you 86 watts.
You would have to build a fixture for this, and do the basic wiring, but it would be very cheap and efficient.

I have two of those coralife 96 w fixtures. They have bulbs but I dont know how old they are(might need to be replaced). Let me know if you are interested.

Oh and there is actually a picture in my gallery. The tank that is pictured is a 20 long not a 10...they do fit a ten perfectly.
