The title says it all! I am looking for fish for my FOWLR. I love lions and other unique fishes. I am especialy interested in red volitons and FuManChu lions. Let me know what you've got. If I get some things I like better and need some room I may be looking for a home for my 6in panther grouper.

Why dont you try to keep them both together? I have a miniatus with a spotted grouper. They leave each other alone unless the spotted grouper tries to hide in the miniatus's hole, then he gets chased out. The miniatus does this to all the fish in the tank though, then he hangs out with his head sticking out and opens his mouth a bunch really wide to let them know whose boss, very funny to watch. Now they leave his hole alone and he doest bother anyone. My spotted is full grown and is large enough to eat half the fish in my tank(including the miniatus), but he is well fed every day and is super chill. You should be fine with those 2 fish, panthers get big but are wimps compared to other groupers like a miniatus. Try it out if it doesnt work I will take your panther for sure.

Well I had a small Minatus in there with the panther, until I left the lid open (the Harlequin Tusk chased him around) and he committed suicide.... :(
I am more concerned with overstocking. Its a 125gal with a 30 sump.
I already have a full grown Australian harlequin tusk, then smaller (young) fish like a blue spotted puffer, a spiny puffer, a squirrel fish, volitan lion, panther grouper, a snowflake eel and a bi-color. I know these other fish are going to get big quick and I don't know when I'll upgrade with the economy and a baby due. I'm willing to part with the bi-color and the panther to make room for another volition, the minatus and any other cool predator fish.

If you dont have one, call John over at SW!

Yea, its a Toby. Nice color huh! The Minatus will get pretty big, over a foot in captivity. Not sure how much more. How big is yours WSZ594?

I saw your fish at the store before you got it, great looking grouper. My miniatus is around 6-7", my spotted is about 11 inches. Mine are pretty well mannered as long as I feed them heavy. I dont dare letting that big grouper get hungry in my tank.

Yea, I feed the crap out of my fish also. I got a snowflake eel too. He is blind as a bat, when I put food in he smells it and goes after anything that moves! If any one wants one, beware they bite really hard!
