wtb: metal halide for 29 gallon

im looking to get a metal halide i have a 29 gallon 18x30 inch tank. anyone have any laying around? i have no canopy, so i think retros are out of the question.

basically i never want to have to buy another fixture only the bulbs, i would also like the fixture to have actinics as well if possible post or pm pics thanks

i have a 36" current nova extreme i'm using on my 29 gallon i'm getting ready to tear down and sell. 100.00

i have a coralife pendant 150w de and i can put a 14k bulb in there no need for actinics

but i thank you would be better off with a SE bulb to cover the 30 inches

(i have a 14k and a 10k coralife i can throw in for free for a backup)14k is 5 month old

im not too sure if that fixture would get light to my whole tank....

even with a SE bulb you are still going to have shaded areas on the sides of the tank

i had a hamilton reef star and a retro pfo spider reflector on my 29 gallon that i had in the past and was never happy with a single halide but i was doing all sps

im looking for something with maybe a halide in the middle with some actinics off to the side or something to make sure my whole tank gets light.

my SE 175w covers my entire 40BR perfectly

you can't see any shaded areas with your eye (maybe the corals can) but I dont have any sps on the last 3" of tank on each side

I guess Im also using a PFO parallel reflector, which is pretty good and is not a pendant

here is a video link of my 29 gallon, went with this fixture cause at time couldnt find a 30 " fixture just 36 or 24 inch. i'll find more pics i keep them on another saltwater forum.
