WTB" Midas Blenny SF/dalycity area

hey guys anyone selling a midas blenny or a large bicolor blenny? I cant seem to find them in any of the LFS anymore.

have you tried 6th ave on sunday morning, or aquatic central. they have those types of fish most of the time. good luck dood.

Go see steve at Lucky Ocean in Balboa... He's got one - a bi-color and at a decent price.

i know dan from aquatic central has bicolors but he says he hasnt seen any midas blennies in yet. and me n 6th ave dont mix, i was about to whoop the managers a**. they just too damn rude i aint going back there. i dont care how cheep they are either cuz i know for a fact that they get their fish from aquatraders at san bruno. so its more about quantity than quality when dealing with 6th ave. but thanks ill continue my search for a midas.

You may want to ask LFS to order you one. Then wont have to run around searching for one.

yeah i been asking dan but he said he hasnt seen them around at the wholesalers. but hopefully he can get one pretty soon.

I don't think Midas Blennes come in this time of year. I was looking for one last year for months about this time and nothing. Then I found an African on at Aquatic Galley and bought him o the spot even though I didn't want an African one. Next week, every fish store has (5) of the regular blennies. I was a little upset.

Look for them in a month or 2.

i been looking for one also for like two months now and dan from aquatic central said they are not in "season" yet. so i guess i'll just wait it out.
