No need to panic.....many reefers turn out lights and cover tanks for 3 days during algea breakouts and there are times on natural reefs that the sun doesn't shine for a couple days during storms. Figure out what lighting you want and make a good purchase, instead of a knee jerk reaction. Your corals will not die without light for a couple days.
