I am not close to Denver but my lfs here in missouri had them on sale for 9 bucks each and i bought 2, they are a very nice addition to a tank. Mine school together.

If I remember right there are two different kinds of these or something.

I want the $20-$30 ones, not the $100 and something ones. I don't really remember the diff, but I know there are two kinds.

I think you're talking about regular purple firefish and helfrichi firefish. The Helfrici being more expensive...

Thanks for the heads up OPAKAPAKA, but I wouldn't go into SBT if they were giving them away for free, with a side order of $1000. That place is an absolute joke and so are the people that work there. JMO

I should be picking up a pair next week from Aqua Imports - better leave em alone :hammer:.

I see the regular firefish at $10-14, but the "purple" are usually over $20, so be careful what you get.

I cant tell the difference unless the are side-by-side.
