I dont know anything about them. I'm not sure how big of one i need.
I have a 75 gal tank that should require 5 gals a week for top off. I also have a freshwater pond aprox 200 gals that needs a top off once a week or so. Do they make units that install directly to my outside faucet that I can attach a hose to and use to fill the pond?

ok, thanks so im looking at around 125.00 delvd from ebay store for the ro8102dint aquaruim reef 110 gpday ro plus di system....Is this overkill? is this a good price? Like I said I have no clue.

I think thats the one I got, can't remember... I've had it almost 2 years now and love it.

I know when I got mine I asked for the 75GPD membrane in a 110GPD unit because the 75 was much better.

I'm still using the orig membranes and only get ~6-8 on the TDS meter. It reads 0 after DI.

Before you buy, make sure you check out some of the other suggestions on here too.

OK thanks...what I am gathering here is that u get what u pay for. After checking around it seems that 99.00 is a very good price for the ebay unit. The fact that it does 110gpd might indicate that the membrane may be low quality and i should upgrade to one that does less gpd to improve quality?.......hope im catching on??? I would probably feel more comfortable purchasing a unit from someone local so if i have probs with it i can take it back. I dont know how problematic these things are or how long they should last.

I also second the reference to FAOIS and working with John and his wife Jenn (sp?). He has helped me several times with other problem and is now a valuable resource when I run into problems.
