I know i dont have 50 post yet so im not sure if im allowed to ask this or not but i am currently looking for a return pump and skimmer. Any brand will work for the pump as i am looking for something around 800-1000 gph. I would like it to be decently quiet and it also needs to be internal as i do not have enough room for and external pump.

As for the skimmer anything that can handle 150 gallons would be sufficient. If you have something please let me know. Willing to drive and pick up.

well let me ask you this... If i build a shelf and put an external above the waterline would it be cabaple of pulling water up lets say a foot or so? Or does the external simply need water flowing into it in such a matter that it will require no pulling of water? if thats possible let me know what you have as that is something i could do very easily.

To be honest, I really don't know about the pulling water thing. I won it at a frag swap and never got around to putting it into use or learning about it.

It is a Gen-x pcx 40. Here is a link to info about it http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_AquariumPage~PageAlias~pumps_gen-x_mak-4_mak-5.html

Here's a pic of the pump label.

Oh yeah, and I will make a really good deal. It's just sitting around here doing nothing and I got it for free so why not. I'm not sure where Mt. Blanchard is, but if it is somewhat near Toledo, it would definitely be worth the drive.

tell me what you want for it. I may take it off your hands and see how it works. I may be able to find a different spot to put my light ballast to make room for this pump

If its going to be above water level you'll always have to have a way to prime it. It won't "lift" the water from below by itself.
