wtb....sea swirl?

I know jtarmitage had a couple for sale and D&KSac had one too. If those don't work out for you, I have a 3/4 on my 90 that I will be breaking down by month end.

I've got 2 1" SS's that have been fully rebuilt. Only the cord and end cap were reused. LMK if you want to take a look.

j-I appreciate the offer, and saw your for sale thread a while back. The only reason I hesitate is because the pump (ehiem 1260) is only a 3/4" output and I have heard of issues of flow loss from increasing the output size on tubing....if this is false, someone please correct me and count me in for one...otherwise I am in no hurry and when you are ready mark, i can grab yours!

True, and false. Overall flow is actually increased with the larger tubing, but the velocity of the water is decreased. To get the optimal flow from a pump, run 1" tubing up as far as possible, then reduce it to 3/4". It is a very simple matter to use a 3/4" to 1" adapter at the pump. If you want to increase the velocity of water out of the SS, then just use a 1" MPT to 3/4" Barb instead of the 1" MPT to barb adapter. If you want to wait for a cheaper 3/4" to become available, no sweat. If you want to come by and check these out, LMK.
