So u know he magnet around the impeller swells on these and it wont spin. Mine did that and that was all that was wrong just to give you a heads up.

the 5000 don't come of for sale too often...

Thanks for the heads up. So I need a new impeller? When I messed around with it it worked for a few days then stopped again. I thought the impeller might be going bad or cracked. I wasn't able to pull it out with my hand and was too lazy to get the tools needed to yank it out. Ill go home and check it out.

My 7000 used to sieze up every once in a while. It was usually just because it overheated from calcium build ups. If you still need one though I have a nearly new 5000 that I have sitting around. I would just have to dig it up.

you may want to soak it in vinegar first. I had a 3500 that need a new impeller, but just upgraded to the 5000. replacing the impellar may be all you need.
