What's going to happen is Coraline and Green Algae will grow on the light and block it over time. I'd recommend thinking of something else. Maybe attach it to the top that flips open. I've also seen the paint razored off the back, and a light attached going through it.

Will the Chinese eBay ones work? I'm looking too but only was sure of that 10w halogen one.
