WTB: UV sterilizer

Hey Reefers:

I am looking for a UV sterilizer for my system, about 300 gallons total volume. Not looking to spend a fortune, but willing to pay a fair (or really cheap) price.

I have a 40 watt that needs a quartz sleeve but the bulb and ballast are fine for 40 bucks.

stand beautiful powder blue has ick i suggested uv and cleaner shrimp ne1 else have any opinions let him know it worked well for my blue hippos

Wayne, is this a LifeGard by Rainbow Aquatics 40 watter? If Stan doesn't want it and it is that brand I could definitely use it.

Garlic pellets....garlic laced algae sheets....keep temp around 76...it seems to slow down their repro cycle...

I also have a practically brand new Lifeguard by rainbow aquatic 40 watt UV sterilizer with about 2 weeks of use on it.Once I bought it I found out that it also got rid of stuff that was beneficial to my tank so I unpluged it and that was it .I was hopeing to trade it for some kind of MH set up 175,250watt or some kind of lighting for my fuge.
