make sure you get one with a wiper to clean off the quartz.

The ones I use don't have a wiper and it takes about 45 seconds to unscrew the compression fitting, pull out the quarts sleeve and wipe it down, then replace it and screw it together. I was looking for one with a built in wiper but found a deal on the LifeGard 80w and jumped on it. I still have to add the 3rd 40w cartridge I bought and never hooked up. I think they do a great job at clearing up the water.

Did you check with CeasarIM... I thought he had a LifeGard 40w for sale.
