I am needing MH Bulbs, used, but with a few months left on them. I am having problems with green hair algae in a couple of my tanks. All chemistry is fine. I have cut photo hours down. Have placed emerald crabs in tanks. I have finally decided that I need new lights. I am going to be getting rid of these tanks soon and do not want to invest in new bulbs. I need 250 w, one DE and one Mogul. 14,000k or 15,000k.Could also use 70W MH for my Viper clamp on. It is a DE bulb. Let me know what you have. I will be glad to pay shipping, if you are not in the Jackson area. Thanks.

I'm not sure what price your looking for, but there are cheap bulbs on ebay. They usually don't last as long as the higher quality bulbs, but should work well for short term. RC doesn't allow links to ebay, but I did a search there using "250w metal halide" that turned up a bunch of hits.

I have 2 Hamilton 250w DE 14K that are 6 months old, and still have some good life left in them.......
