WTMRAC Aquarium Dry Goods Garage Sale!

Oh noooooooo ..... it's the exact opposite.

The longer we've used a 10 - key and the faster our fingers get, the more our brain forgets how to do it and becomes calculator dependent.

You ought to see a table of accountants at a restaurant trying to split the check. It's pitiful.

1.3 Billion can't be wrong!

Very good!!!!

So bring an abacus for me tomorrow and we'll just use that.

I'm not very fast on those, though.

I'm pretty slow myself because of remembering the places, but seeing those kids fry on them is something to behold. And I nominate the inventer of the abacus as the most influential human being of all time. They invented the first computer.

Unfortunetly not. We have been doing A LOT of family togetherness with the inlaws since moving to Nashville. Saturday we'll be up at lake Barkley. As hard as it is to believe, I'd rather be at the sale. I've got quite a bit of suff I'm not using but knowing me I'd just end up buying more than I sold.

unbelievable turn out and what bargains!

The first annual sale and swap meet was a huge success IMO!

I bought slightly more than I sold but my left overs will soon grace this forum!

Official tally is $740 of stuff sold.

Not a bad day for sales and a fun day with good company.

This should become an annual tradition.

For those that missed it today, I think Barrett is continuing some of the sale tomorrow at his house.

Hey Everyone! I was really glad that we did this! I got to see a lot of you and even met a potential new member. Poor guy had Andy yammerin in his ear for the better part of 2 hours. Like Cathy said, sales wer respectable considering I didn't advertise us in the "Fish" section of the classifieds but in the "Garage Sale" section. Next year I'll know better and spread the word around more. I am going to continue the sale tomorrow at my house at 9083 Weeping Cherry, Cordova, TN 38016.
Still available are a number of HOB overflows, a couple tanks, sumps, PC lights and bulbs, NO fluorescent, Skimmer, timers, PH's, and External pump, and some other stuff that I just can't remember.
I would definately like to make this an annual event and next time I would like to have a frag tank! Jay managed to rid himself of some Kenya tree's and I think if we had more coral available that we might have gotten some of the "fencer's" to take more stuff.
Thanks everyone that came out and come on by tomorrow!
P.S. If I have your stuff and it doesn't sell tomorrow I will give it to the Goodwill if its not picked up by next Friday.

I'm getting the supplies together so I should think noon. But feel free to call me at 901-481-3392. I'll give you the sneak preview and first dibs!
