The new octopus pump detroys them IMO based on the price, you are better off buying 2 super reefs then a BK and still you are at half the cost. The only reason bubble kings cost so much is the guy that sells them wants to live in a big house.....They are good skimmers, but my huge Orca was not as expensive as that and it keeps a 450 gallon super clean. IMO if you want to spend the money go Hurricone or Ocra with a Dart needlewheel that can grow with you over a 1k skimmer for a 180 gallon. I would put any octopus super reef to the test over BK anyday, if they cost what they should about 399 or less I would consider one. I would imagine it cost them under 150 to manufacture those skimmers. I know a few people that got BK and did not see a difference. I suspect most people say how much better they are to justify the money they spent.
