WXM sync problem

I have an issue getting to run 2 Vortech pumps in sync mode.

I have an MP40 and an MP10 successfully connected to the WXM.
At first I had each pump running in his own mode but decided now to run them in sync mode.
I tried to follow the instructions from the excellent "unofficial guide" but it seems not to work.

What I did:
I created 2 profiles.
Called the first one "sync40" for the MP40 and used Vortech Type: sync and assigned as master to the MP40.
Called the second one "sync10" for the MP10 and used again Vortech type: sync and assigned this one (MP10) to the master MP40

Then I did my outlet setup:
I used for the MP40 outlet "advanced" with the following code:
Fallback ON
If Time 08:00 to 11:15 Then Lagoon
If Time 11:15 to 11:45 Then Nutrient
If Time 11:45 to 18:00 Then Crest
If Time 18:00 to 21:00 Then Lagoon
If Time 21:00 to 08:00 Then Night
If FeedD 005 Then Slow
If FeedA 000 Then Slow

For the MP10 outlet I used "advanced" also and the code:
Fallback ON

The issue I have is that the MP40 runs in the correct mode as programmed but the MP10 runs in a different mode (actually it is the mode I had programmed before I switched to "sync").

Any thoughts what could be wrong?

Thanks
Michael

I think you use sync only on the slave, not both master and slave.

Thanks for the reply. You made me thinking about this.

I assume you could use BOTH sync profiles just in case you want to switch the master to a slave or the slave to the master.

I think I found what was wrong.
In the outlet setup for the MP10 (slave) I added "Set Sync10". The Sync10 profile just tells who the master is (in my case the MP40).
Seems both are doing the same thing now.

wouldnt you get the most out of 2 Vortechs by having them anti-sync? I have my 2 MP10's on anti-stnc and it keeps great tank movement as well as wave action during certain settings...

Mine are on opposing sides of the tank, btw.
