I had a 2 inch pulsing xenia colony fall and land next to my open brain. I figured the brain would destroy it but its been 2 weeks now and the xenia is now attatched to the skeleton on the underside of the brain. They are both fully open every day and the xenia is constantly touching the flesh of the brain.
Is this unusual? I thought lps would kill if other corals got too close.
