I've had a xenias growing extremly well in my 29 gallon for over a year now. Over the last month i've noticed many of them are starting to wilt and some of their branches have fallen off. I don't understand why. The light is still good, all levels are within a good range, and it isn't even all of the xenias. Anyone seen this before.

This has happened to my xenia forest from time to time. I dont worry too much about it...seems like it can do that from time to time.. not sure if its like a "regenerating stage" or what, but it always seems to come back (moreso than i want to be honest

)Very common. I had a 75 gallon/ 4 year old tank have a complete Xenia crash in a matter of a few days . . . a handful did make it, but it took months to recover. I never did figure out exactly what happened. It usually happens when they are near out of control . . . perhaps they used up some trace mineral in the water faster than it was being supplied? who knows? Someone suggested an little more iodine . . . might help? Are all you xenias the same strain or did you get some from multiple sources? When my crash occured it was all the short stout 'white" pulsing ones that kicked it. I have some darker, lankier ones that weren't even affected.
