Xenia eating Nudibranch

Koralkid

Hello im not sure if this is the right area for this question but any advise would be apprecited, i am trying to track down a nudibranch that will eat xenia as i have a patch growing on some rocks and over certain corals i dont want!! Does anyone know of a particular Nudibranch taht will do the job??

Phyllodesmium crypticum and P. rudmani will both do the job. However, neither are available in the hobby. I've only heard one instance of either of these hitchhiking in. I've looked for these guys in the wild too on dozens of dives and haven't found one yet. I'd say your chances of getting one are slim to none.

You'll probably have go the manual removal+ kalk route.

Thanks greenbean, i have only heard of the Nudibranches that eat xenia, hitchhiking their way into stores on xenia not many people would want it im sure, i have been using kalkwasser paste a little but to no avail just yet, any suggestions on an affective method?

If someone could find a nudi that'd eat xenia, one they could regularly get, we might have the only easily-kept nudi in the world. Xenia is easy enough to farm.
