xenia/GSP/corallimorph placement

As I'm getting closer to getting water in my new DT, I'm contemplating placement of a few species which I really enjoy and would like to keep. That said, I know these corals should come with a warning. I'd like to mitigate as much of the cons of these corals by proper placement. Looking for some advice.

I plan to have a large, rounded, isolated rock about the size of a full football and another shorter, flatter rock the size of a small plate. These two rocks will be separated from each other and from the rest of the rockscape by several inches. Also, there'll be a several inch buffer from any glass sides of the tank. They WILL be out front and center though as "centerpieces" for the tank.

The rounded rock will hold pulsing xenia and GSP. If it were socially acceptable, I'd coat my entire aquascape with GSP. I'm aware of how these two corals can spread like wildfire, and have had extensive experience fighting xenia. That said, the two are a real crowd pleaser, and I'm getting comfortable gambling on the two. I figure, if I can keep them isolated on this rock, they really shouldn't "jump" to glass or other rock. My only concern is that the two are different heights, and might not mix well together on the same rock. Maybe the xenia will be too high and shade out the GSP. Or maybe the GSP will just push out all the xenia?

Next,

The flat rock will hold my various corallimorphs. I've recently taken a liking to ricordias (no pref on species), and also like mushrooms (discosomas). I'm thinking I will seed this rock with several of each genus and let them multiple and cover the rock. Question: will either genus overrun the other? Is this a bad idea to mix them on one rock? I'm under the impression that they would prefer to be lowest (strata) and have the lowest light requirements. I feel if I mix them in with the general aquascape that they may be too far away for appreciation (a.) they're a favorite and b.) my tank is quite deep and wide).

Comments and corrections, please. I suppose I could consider using 4 separate rocks as centerpieces and let each genus have its own rock. That would be crowding things, and possibly feel too unnatural and planned.

Help me plan this!

sounds like you already have this well planned!

keeping the water "clean" will limit Xenia and GSP reproduction
