ive tried a search but didnt find what I was looking for. I have a xenia and I have it placed high in my tank , Ive had it about 2 weeks. Well i added another koralia 3 and now my xenia is in a high flow area. should i move it down where the flow isnt so bad? its kinda blowing to the side and not flowing back and forth. I tried to redirect the flow but it seams it dosent matter where I aim it the flow on top of the tank is alot. Is ther anywhere that show optimum placement of powerheads . I have 3 (2) koralia 2 and the (1) koralia 3 in a 50 gal. Thanks

Try aiming two pumps at each other from across the aquarium to create turbulence. My Xenia(waving hand) is placed in the spot where the currents from two Koralia nano pumps collide. They are aimed at each other at a slightly offset angle. My Maxi Jet 900 return pump with a Hydor FLO Rotating Water Deflector gives the Xenia a blast from a third direction every 20 seconds or so. The turbulence keeps my xenia swaying and dancing at random all day long. This is in a 24 gallon cube tank.

IMO place it on the sand bed, it requires little light and if you place it on the rock it can spread like a weed and dominate your entire tank in a short time. It will probably spread anyway but on the sand bed it should be a little more manageable .

They require little little. But, mine loves the high flow, they
seem to grow faster and spread faster in higher movement.
