Xenia polluting my tank?

I have xenia and have fragged it plenty of times. Where one of the stalks has regrown my frogspawn is stinging it and the xenia is melting. I don't care at all about the stalk of xenia because I have a lot of it. I am worried though about the xenia polluting my tank, it is only a 10g reef. Will the xenia pollute my tank if it is being stung a lot and melting? Thanks in advance!

with having only a 10g tank (which is small), it could pollute if enough of it died at once.

can you not move the froggie? can you not frag the xenia away from the froggie?

GET RID OF THE FROGSPAWN.

Just kidding. You are in the "Soft Coral Keepers" forum, though. You had to see it coming.

Yeah, thats why I was asking about the xenia in this forum. The xenia is basically getting dominated. Tank seems fine though.

I used to use my stinging corals to keep my xenia from spreading onto other rocks. Until I got rid of the xenia because it grows like a weed.

Anyways I have a 29 gallon and I noticed no ill effects on the tank. Even when my toadstool was killed by one of my lps no ill effects.... you should be fine
