I have some xenia in my tank, and I wanted it to strat covering the back false wall in my biocube.... Ive had it against the back wall of the tank for a touch over a month now, and it hasnt started climbing onto that back wall yet. Will it be able to cling to it like glass, or will this not work because its plastic ??

All I hear is how xenia grows like a weed, and this is taking forever... It could just be im impatient though. :)

from what ive heard is most of the time they grow like weed but some just dont grow as much mine dosent grow very much but very healthy, kinda glad because i dont have the problem of it taking over my tank

I have some growing on the back wall in my nanocube.

I had it so close to the wall that it touched, it will eventually split off and go on the wall.

I have it there, it looks like the base of it is flat against it and the rock it was originally on, will it split on its own and stick to the wall by itself ??

Also does anyone know if I could do this on the back wall with like GSP's ??

Xenia growing like a weed is sometimes the cause of high nitrates. Xenia is supposed to pull a lot of nitrates out of your water. I have read that some people actually use it in their refugiums instead of macros.

I've got xenia on my plastic... I basically smashed it against the plastic once due to some bad aquascaping and it decided to attach itself a bit there.

I wonder if you could kickstart it by fragging a bit and using a couple suction cups and a piece of thread to hold it to the back wall until it attached.

ccaragol thats a prety good idea
i've also herd of people growind gsp's and xenia on magnafloats to move them around their glass
